We know the area well and can provide information and direction to the
Columbia Valley’s many summer and winter activities. We participate in
and enjoy many of these activities ourselves and would be more than happy
to provide personalized guiding services if desired.
You might not know in addition
to its artist community,
the Columbia Valley is also becoming increasingly well known for
bird watching. The Columbia
River wetlands stretch over 160 km from Canal Flats in the south

The valley is also a major flight path for many migrating birds.
The 6th annual Columbia Valley Bird Festival -- "Wings Over
the Rockies" -- will take place May 5-11, 2003. It
is a very popular event and it continues to grow rapidly. Check
their web site at www.adventurevalley.com/wings.
