Pat and Ryan Bavin are a father and son team who have worked together since 1988. Pat has trained extensively at the Pilchuck Glass School which is rated among the world's best. Recently, Ryan has been attending Pilchuck as a teaching assistant and glass blower.

The Bavin's prefer creating one-of-a-kind pieces that are influenced by nature, native history, sports and simplicity. Colours and shapes by both artists are also uniquely enhanced by Pat's Feng Shui Design.

This is a team that enjoys sharing their creativity with the public. The public is always welcome to watch these glassblowers at work. During the summer, mornings are the best time for viewing. When you attend the weekly demonstration, you also have the opportunity to win the piece being made. Demos are held March through November on Thursday's at 11:00am.

Visitors to the Bavin Glassworks are also welcome to visit the adjacent gallery, which features unique gifts and art pieces. Ask the staff about special orders and custom pieces. Plan to attend the annual "One of a Kind" show every (Canadian) Thanksgiving weekend (in October!).
